You just need ONE Successful Campaign..

How to sell tshirts on teespring

Hello guys,

It’s been a long time I posted on the blog. I have been away from MyDreamStore for past 2 month due to some personal reasons. I went through a tragedy. A tragedy everyone faces at some point in his/her life. Well, I got married.. :p   That means bachelor life is over. No more late night hangouts, anime, xbox etc.

Anyways, so I came back from holidays to start work on MDS again (if are new to the blog, its my full time job now). Somehow, I was blank. Not sure where to start. What campaign to launch? What niche to start with? There is so much to do. I started going through my older blog posts and found this article – Power of 5 Good Campaigns

So, I went through my successful campaigns and selected 2 campaigns which worked well in the past 3-4 months back, increased the pricing a bit and re-launched them. Then I went into my Facebook Ads Manager, copied the exact same campaign, ad set, targeting and relaunched the ads.. and I waited..

Exactly after 1 hour, I got an email from MyDreamStore – ‘Huray! Your campaign got a backer‘    Awesome.. Sales started running.. End of Day 1, sold some 10-12 tees. Good enough to start with. Now, time to scale it like crazy.

Started applying my advanced Scaling Strategies and within a week the same campaign is doing 70-80 tees per day. Pretty awesome right?

Last One Week’s Sales on MyDreamStore

Its been hardly 1 week and 314 products sold with decent Rs 70k profit. The purpose of this post is to show that people generally underestimate a Successful Campaign.

A Successful Campaign is like an ASSET for you. Look at it this way, you have spent money on marketing, you have done research on Targeting, you have spent time on finding the Audience who Buys in that niche. After all this, people are buying means you have cracked a Code.

A Code means – you have figured out the niche, the audience, their age, their interests etc Who Pays Money to buy t-shirts. If they are buying once, they will buy again and again. They love spending money on their passion or their niche. They love Showing Off about their Passion or Niche.

So, you can use this info (THE CODE) and keep selling them again and again.

Most people underestimate the power of a good successful campaign. And once they have found a successful campaign, they immediately jump to another niche OR start working to find another audience or niche. In fact, the right approach should be spend time  on existing niche and thinking how can we sell to the same niche again and again Without Spending Time in Finding the Right Targeting.

It’s Easier to Sell to Same Niche Again and Again then Finding the New Niche altogether.

Hope it makes sense.. 🙂

The campaign which I am running is the same campaign for which I sold more then 1200 tees earlier. I wrote a Case Study also about it in THIS BLOG POST

So, if you have got a Successful Campaign before. Try launching a new and awesome design to them again. And if you do not have successful campaign, hope this post acts as a motivation to find that ONE CAMPAIGN. Once you do, you have cracked the code to that Niche which you can do to sell again and again.

Hope this was helpful guys… 🙂

    Hi Ubaid,

The best way to do research about a niche is through Facebook Audience Insight. I will do a detailed video on this soon.

Lot of Facebook pages are not available for targeting in Facebook Ads. But few of them which are very popular and are having high engagement are available for targeting. You have try and see which one is available. No other option.. 🙂

Hi Mubaid,

Thank you for sharing your knowledge & experience in this field. It really helps newbies like myself understand and feel motivated to achieve success online!
I have a few things I would really appreciate your advice on:
When starting a new campaign on FB ads and you have a few sales (2-3) after 5 days on a particular ad set, how do you scale up that ad set using the increase budget strategy? Do you stop that ad set and create a new similar ad set with a higher budget than before?? I read that adjusting your ad sets will mess up their algorithms. I am confused about this method of scaling and I think I am losing money because having too many ads running is costly and so far, my sales don’t provide enough to cover too many ads running one time.

Thanks a lot for any advice you have and congratulations on your marriage! 🙂

    Hi Philip,

So happy that my blog posts are being useful to you.. 🙂

Scaling is the key to making huge sales. There are lot of scaling techniques you can use. Its a very detailed topic, but I will share some tips in short –

1 – You can increase budget of winning ad set.
2 – Dont increase suddenly in huge amount. It will mess up you ROI. Every 2-3 days, increase it by 15-20%
3 – You can duplicate the existing winning ad set with the same budget
4 – Keep adding new ad sets with new interests as experiments. Every day analyse the results and kill the bad ad sets..

These are few of the tricks I use for scaling.. 🙂

Thanks a lot for the advice, Mubaid! Sounds great! You’re awesome man! Hope to start crushing it online one day like you!
