Today, I will be showing step by step tutorial on how to run a retargeting ad on Facebook and double your t-shirts sales on MyDreamStore.
If you are selling on MyDreamStore and have some successful campaign, use retargeting ads and quickly scale the number of sales.
What is Retargeting and Why to use it?
Retargeting refers to showing ads to people who have visited your t-shirt campaign page. 90% people will not buy the t-shirt in first look.
Reason could be anything –
- They might be busy in some work
- They don’t have their wallet nearby
- They are in commute when they saw the design on Facebook
- They are too lazy to make a purchase right now
That is the reason we need to retarget them again showing the same design.
Following steps are needed to setup a retargeting ad –
- Setup Facebook Pixel
- Setup Custom Audience
- Promote your Campaign
- Wait for Custom Audience to get populated
- Launch one more Ad for retargeting the users
- Enjoy the new sales.. 🙂
Step by Step details have been shown in the video.
Facebook Pixel – Its the custom audience pixel we need to setup in the setting of MyDreamStore campaign page. Once the pixel is setup, Facebook can track the people who clicked on any Facebook Ad and went to our t-shirt campaign page on MyDreamStore.
Custom Audience – If we have setup a Facebook Pixel, Facebook allows us to store the data of users who are coming on our t-shirt campaign page on MyDreamStore from Facebook. All the data of those audience is collected in Custom Audience.
Power of Custom Audience – The data stored in Custom Audience is very very powerful. If it got stored in Custom Audience that means that person has visited our t-shirt page, which means he liked the design on Facebook. Means, he the most interested buyer for us. Facebook allows us to target and run an ad to people who are stored in the Custom Audience. So, you have a list of people are who clicked on the FB link and visited our t-shirt page but did not buy.
Launching a Separate Ad – Once we have 200-300 people stored in our custom audience, we can launch a separate Ad to target them. You can use either PPE Ad or Website Conversion Ad. I have posted a detailed video tutorial on how to launch a PPE Ad here – Click here to Watch it

It’s a very very popular method and if you have successful campaign, you must try it out. Even if you have sold 3-4 t-shirts and are shot of 1-2 t-shirts to make your campaign successful, you can quickly launch a retargeting ad and complete your campaign.. 🙂
