Choose Scalable Designs for Selling more t-shirts..

Scalable designs to sell more tshirts

Hello awesome people, this is a short post about selecting the design which can help you sell more and more t-shirts and earn a lot of profits. In the previous blog post, I had explained about how to come up with design ideas for t-shirts.

Basically, there are 2 types of designs to choose from –

  1. Specific Design
  2. Scalable Design

Specific Design – Something which is specific to a particular domain or niche and cannot be used with another domain or niche. Meaning, you cannot modify the design and use it for something else. For example –

Specific Design Example

This particular design has been designed for people who love to work out or train hard and can be targeted towards people who go to gym or do exercise regularly.

This is an attractive design for gym lovers but cannot be used for any other niche like chess players or photographers.

Scalable Design – Whenever I am planning for a new campaign, I try to find the designs which are scalable. Meaning, I look for designs in which I can modify a simple text or line and use it for another domain. For example –

Scalable Design Example MyDreamStore

This is a perfect example of Scalable Design. Suppose I launch this design for Doctors and it becomes successful.

The next immediate thing I will do is, I will change the text DOCTORS to LAWYERS, change the logo and launch a new campaign for Lawyers.

Next, I will change the text to ARCHITECTS, change the logo and launch another campaign targeting Architects..

This way I don’t need to work on the new design every single time. Once I know a particular design is selling well, I check if its a Scalable Design? If yes, I immediately launch the design to another niche. I will launch it for Lawyers, Architects, Engineers, Software Developers, Hackers, Designers, Singers, Guitarists etc etc.

And not only Job Titles, you can expand it to any category like Proud to be a Chess Player, Proud to be a Salman Fan, Proud to be a Bengali. The possibilities are endless!

So, once you have hit a successful campaign, you have hit a gold mine – If Your Design is a Scalable One. Modify and launch the same design to another 20 niches and you have 20 more winning campaigns and 20x more sales. Isn’t it awesome?

This is the exact same strategy I have used to earn a lot of money so far. I have also explained the same in my FREE Case Study. You can Download It Here.

Hope this was helpful to you guys. Feel free to reach out to me in case of any queries.

Hi Mubaid, thank you so much about your tutorials. You have been very helpful.
I just started a shopify store for faith related t-shirts. I have done a couple adds with about 1000 reached inn a day but no likes and no shares. I have been getting feedback from my own network that the designs are great, so I am not sure what I am doing wrong.
Would love your feedback.

    Hello Renee,

If you are getting good feedback about the designs but not much engagement that means, there could be problem in the targeting of ads. May be the ads are not reaching the right audience for it.
Please drop me an email at and I will try to help you out as much as I can.. 🙂
